Photoshop has arguably the most comprehensive set of tools available in any imaging application. The latest version CS has the same tools as previuosly seen in version 7, so you should have a seamless upgrade . Of course there are other features within CS that are unique to this edition. Click the tools on the Tool Palette to open a page of tips and techniques relevant to that tool. The shortcut keystrokes for each tool appears in blue in the title at the top of each page, memorise the shortcuts and speed up your workflow. This whole interactive interface will be updated over the next few weeks.

Note that some of the tools have fly-outs with alternative tools or more options. These tools are accessed in Photoshop by clicking the small black arrow in the bottom right corner (see red circle). The tools that are visible will be the ones that you access via the shortcut keystroke, if you hold down the Shift key and press the shortcut key again, you can scroll through each tool in sequence. On our pages we will put the fly-out under the page title.
